Connect your domain: DNS guides by provider
Two records (an A and a CNAME) at the company that holds your domain. Remo never asks for your password; you add them yourself, following the screens of your provider. Your account shows the same guide with your own domain and the exact values.
Bluehost
bluehost.com/my-account/login → Portal Login → Domains → your domain → DNS tab (Manage Advanced DNS Records)
1. Sign in to the Bluehost Portal
Go to bluehost.com/my-account/login. Stay on the Portal Login tab. Enter your User ID (your email, account number or domain) and your password, then Login. In the left menu click Domains, then yourbusiness.com (skip that click if you only have one domain).2. Open the DNS tab
Click the DNS tab: you're in Manage Advanced DNS Records. Optional copy first: Actions → Export DNS zone.3. Edit the A record for @
Find the row Type A, Host Record @. Note its Points to value: that's your old server. Click the vertical three dots (⋮) at the right of the row → Edit. Replace Points to with147.182.236.145. Leave TTL. Click Edit to save (some screens call that button Save). A second A row for @? ⋮ → Delete → Delete: only one may remain.4. Point www with a CNAME
Find Host Record www. If its Type is CNAME: ⋮ → Edit, Points tosites.remobuilds.com, Edit (or Save). If it's Type A: ⋮ → Delete → Delete; then + Add record → Single → Type CNAME, Host Recordwww, Points tosites.remobuilds.com, Add.5. Come back and check
Leave every other row alone (MX, TXT, mail, ftp, autodiscover). Press Check my domain here. Bluehost says a change may take a few minutes but can take up to 8 hours.
Watch out
- Never delete or edit MX or TXT rows: that is your email. Leave an A row named mail alone too.
- www is usually a CNAME to the root: edit it, don't add a second www.
- Bluehost Cloud sites use two A records for @: edit one to the new address and delete the other.
- A CNAME can't share its host with an A, MX or TXT row.
- If the MX row points at the domain itself (classic cPanel email), the email step comes first: it appears above these steps when it applies.
- If the domain uses other nameservers, this DNS tab changes nothing: tell me in the chat.
- Bluehost's Redirects don't get in the way (the hosting processes them).
Is the button Edit or Save?
Both appear in Bluehost's help: the button at the bottom of the row saves it.
I only see cPanel
Hosting → My Plans → cPanel → Domains → Zone Editor → Manage: the same two records, Edit → Save Record.
