Privacy

This explains what information we hold, where it came from, who sees it and how to have it removed. It applies to https://remobuilds.com, to the previews and sites we build, to the account, and to the email we send. The service is operated under the name Remo by Remo, from MX, with the mailing address given below.

The short version

Before you are a customer, the only information we hold about your business is information your business already published, the kind of thing anyone can read on your website or your public listing, plus what you type into this site. We do not buy contact lists, we do not sell or rent anything we hold, and one email to us erases all of it.

1. Information about businesses we contact

To find businesses whose websites are out of date, we read public sources: public business listings and the businesses' own public websites. From these we record the business name, address, phone number and category; the website address and technical facts about it (when it appears to have been built, whether it works on a phone, whether it loads); a business email address published on that website; and public review counts and ratings.

We use this to decide whether the business might want a new website, to build the preview, and to send one email. We do not collect personal information about individuals beyond the business contact details published for that business, and we do not guess or generate email addresses that were never published. Addresses found this way are never used to build advertising audiences.

2. Information you give us on this site

When you paste a website address we record it, the result of our look at it and the address of your connection, to show you the preview and to prevent abuse; a look that does not lead to an account is removed after 7 days. When you create an account we hold your email address, the sites you add, the evidence that you own them, your edit history and, if you buy a plan, a record of payments. Payment card details are handled entirely by Stripe; we never receive or store your card number.

The marketing checkbox at signup is unchecked by default. We send marketing email only to accounts that checked it, and every such email carries a one-click way to stop.

3. Email we send

Our email to businesses we have not met is commercial and says so. Every message identifies who sent it, includes a valid postal address, and offers a way to opt out. Opting out stops all further email immediately and is honored permanently; we keep a minimal record of the opt-out itself precisely so that we never contact you again.

We record whether a message was delivered, bounced, answered or clicked, in order to stop sending to addresses that do not work and to know whether the offer is of interest. Our email carries no tracking pixel. We do not use any of this to build profiles of individuals.

4. Previews, sites and the account

A preview is unlisted, carries a permanent notice explaining what it is, and is not submitted to search engines. We record basic access information (date, page, technical request data) to operate it and prevent abuse.

To learn whether our pages are clear, the pages we serve (the waiting page, the preview, pricing and the account) measure how they are used: how long a page stays open, how far it is scrolled, which pages are viewed and which buttons are pressed. This measurement is ours, uses no third-party analytics, and is never sold or shared. If you use the chat to request changes, we store those messages so the edits can be made and undone; deleting the preview deletes them.

5. Who we share information with

We do not sell, rent or trade information. We share only what is necessary with the providers that make the product work:

Payment processing, hosting and infrastructure, email delivery, the AI models that write and lay out a site, and, only after consent, the advertising platforms that measure a campaign. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

6. Cookies and advertising

The cookies page lists every cookie we set. On this site a first-party cookie remembers how you arrived (90 days) so we can tell which campaign brought a customer; it holds an opaque id and nothing else, and is never set on a preview, a customer's site or a link we emailed. Advertising pixels load only on this site, only after you consent, never on a preview or on a customer's site.

Do Not Sell or Share. We do not sell personal information. If you prefer that we never share your information with an advertising platform even in aggregate, use the form at the end of this page or write to us; the request is recorded on your account.

You may ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you or your business, correct it, export it, delete it, or stop contacting you. Your account exports and deletes itself from Settings; for anything else write to privacy@remobuilds.com or, for the fastest removal of a preview, remove@remobuilds.com. We do not require a reason. Depending on where you live you may have additional legal rights over your personal information; we honor those requests regardless of where you live.

9. Children

The service is for businesses. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

10. Security

Information is held on access-controlled systems and transmitted over encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your information we notify you and any authority the law requires.

11. Changes

If this policy changes materially, we publish a new version with a new effective date and notify active customers by email.
