Connect your domain: DNS guides by provider
Two records (an A and a CNAME) at the company that holds your domain. Remo never asks for your password; you add them yourself, following the screens of your provider. Your account shows the same guide with your own domain and the exact values.
eNom
where you pay for the domain (an eNom reseller) → Manage domain → Host Records; or access.enom.com → Host Records → Edit
1. Find where you pay for the domain
Your domain was sold by an eNom reseller: eNom runs the DNS, the reseller holds your account. Sign in where you pay for the domain (the company on your renewal email) and look for Manage domain → Host Records or DNS. If your provider gave you a login for access.enom.com, use the next step.2. Sign in at access.enom.com, if you have that login
Go to access.enom.com. Type yourbusiness.com without www and the password your provider gave you, complete the reCAPTCHA, Login. No password? Leave it blank, enter the domain, complete the reCAPTCHA, Login, then Click here in the error message: a reset email goes to the domain's registrant contact. (Written from eNom's help pages: if your screen differs, tell me what you see.)3. Edit the Host Records
Under Host Records select Edit. Row Host Name @: Record Type A (Address), Address147.182.236.145.4. Point www with a CNAME
Row www: Record Type CNAME (Alias), Addresssites.remobuilds.com. If a row is URL redirect or URL frame, replace it. Save.5. Come back and check
Don't touch DNS Information. If it lists nameservers other than dns1-5.name-services.com, host records can't be edited here: tell me the nameservers in the chat. Press Check my domain here: eNom says up to 8-24 hours.
Watch out
- Never delete or edit MX or TXT rows: that is your email. Leave an A row named mail alone too.
- With custom nameservers, host records can't be edited at eNom: the records live at the nameservers' company.
- URL redirect / URL frame rows override the A record: replace them.
- Reseller panels push 'use our nameservers': never change the nameservers.
I don't have an access.enom.com login
Normal: most owners manage the domain at the reseller's site. Sign in where you pay and look for Manage domain → Host Records; tell me what you see.
