CONNECT YOUR DOMAIN

Connect your domain: DNS guides by provider

Two records (an A and a CNAME) at the company that holds your domain. Remo never asks for your password; you add them yourself, following the screens of your provider. Your account shows the same guide with your own domain and the exact values.

Hostinger

hpanel.hostinger.com → Domains → DNS → your domain (DNS / Nameservers → DNS records)

  1. 1. Open the DNS records

Go to hostinger.com and click Log in. In the left sidebar click Domains, then DNS, and select yourbusiness.com. (Bought yourbusiness.com somewhere else? It's listed under External Domains in the same place.) You're on the DNS records tab of DNS / Nameservers.

  2. 2. Turn the CDN off first

Open Websites → Dashboard → Performance → CDN. If it shows Manage (the CDN is on), click Disable: the full switch, not Development mode. With the CDN on, Hostinger overwrites the A record you're about to set. No CDN section? Skip this step.

  3. 3. Edit the A record for @

Back on the DNS records tab find Type A, Name @. Click Edit. In Points to replace the address with 147.182.236.145. Leave TTL at 14400. Click Update (on some accounts the button reads Save).

  4. 4. Delete the other @ rows

If any other row with Name @ is of Type A, AAAA or CNAME (ALIAS), click its trash icon and confirm Delete. Only one A @ must remain. Hostinger-hosted sites usually have an AAAA @: delete it.

  5. 5. Edit the www record

Find Type CNAME, Name www. Click Edit. In Target (Points to) type sites.remobuilds.com. Click Update. If www is an A or AAAA record instead: delete it, then Add Record: Type CNAME, Name www, Target sites.remobuilds.com, TTL 14400.

  6. 6. Leave the email rows alone

Do not touch the MX, TXT or _domainkey (hostingermail-*) rows: those are your email. Do not click Reset DNS Records and do not use Change Nameservers.

  7. 7. Come back and check

Press Check my domain here. Hostinger says changes can take up to 24 hours; most take effect within a few hours. Your Hostinger website dashboard will now show Domain not connected: that's expected. Don't click Check guide or Connect via DNS record, and don't add yourbusiness.com to a new website in Hostinger: either one points the domain back.

Watch out

My dashboard says Domain not connected

Expected once the domain points here. Leave it; don't click Connect.

I don't see Domains → DNS

Use Domains → Manage → DNS / Nameservers → DNS records; for a domain bought elsewhere, Websites → Dashboard → Advanced → DNS Zone Editor.

Will my Hostinger or Titan email stop?

No: it doesn't depend on the A record of @. Only an old cPanel-style setup with the MX pointing at the domain itself does, and the email step above covers it.
