Watch out
- Never delete or edit MX or TXT rows: that is your email. Leave an A row named mail alone too.
- If you can't find a DNS page, the domain may be managed by your web designer or hosting company: ask them in writing for DNS access, for these two records, or for the transfer of the domain into your name; don't cancel before it is yours.
- Some providers show the root as a blank Host or as your full domain name instead of @: use whatever the screen offers for the root.
- Parking or forwarding rows for @ or www (a 'URL Redirect', an ALIAS, a wildcard *, pixie.porkbun.com, parkingpage.namecheap.com) must be deleted before yours can be added.
