Connect your domain: DNS guides by provider
Two records (an A and a CNAME) at the company that holds your domain. Remo never asks for your password; you add them yourself, following the screens of your provider. Your account shows the same guide with your own domain and the exact values.
SiteGround
my.siteground.com → Websites → Site Tools → Domain → DNS Zone Editor
1. Open the DNS Zone Editor
Go to my.siteground.com and sign in. Click Websites, then Site Tools for yourbusiness.com. In the left menu: Domain → DNS Zone Editor. If a warning says the domain is not pointed to SiteGround's nameservers, stop: your DNS lives at the company it names; tell me in the chat.2. Turn the CDN off first
If SiteGround CDN is active: Speed → CDN → Deactivate. The CDN rewrites the A record. Not active? Skip this step.3. Edit the A record
Under Manage DNS Records, click the pencil on the A record for yourbusiness.com (@). Value147.182.236.145. Confirm.4. Point www with a CNAME
If www has an A record, click its trash can → Confirm. Then Create New Record → CNAME tab → Namewww→ Destinationsites.remobuilds.com→ Create.5. Come back and check
Press Check my domain here: SiteGround says up to 24-48 hours.
Watch out
- Never delete or edit MX or TXT rows: that is your email. Leave an A row named mail alone too.
- The DNS Zone Editor only works when the domain uses SiteGround's nameservers.
- SiteGround won't create a CNAME for www while other www records exist: delete the A record first.
- The CDN rewrites the A record: deactivate it before editing.
- Email on the same SiteGround server keeps working: in your mail app use the server name from Mail Configuration, not the domain.
I don't see Site Tools
Your plan may be the Website Builder, or the domain lives elsewhere: tell me what the Websites page shows.
